Dear Life,
Thank you for a new world that challenges so much of what I thought I knew.
Thank you for that scared and unsettling feeling when I am completely out of my element.
Thank you for the two beautiful ladies who followed us around the Golkonda fort, just enjoying our company. To hear their sweet laughter at my childlike excitement to the clapping echos made my heart happy.
Thank you for the Birla Mandir Temple. Let me forever remember the absolute beauty I felt in my soul as I walked bare foot on the white marble, felt the cool breeze, and tasted the sweet holy water.
Thank you for our friends, Neel and Gomz, for their generosity and showing us new places. I feel so lucky to have those local experiences.
Thank you for Kiran and Sindhu and their lovely family who welcomed us into their home. I will always remember the amazing breakfast and flipping through their wedding album. Thank you for the opportunity to take part in the daily puja. I am eternally grateful to be invited into the religious ritual, and the insight to another culture.
Thank you for the elderly man who put ointment on my mosquito bitten foot at the market.
Thank you for CrossFit Potens. I love that anywhere in the world, if you find a CrossFit, you find immediate friends.
Thank you for the tour guide at 7 Tombs who took a strange liking to Kevin, and provided us with some comic relief.
Keep up with Kim’s Dear Life and more about India coming soon.
Gonna take her for a ride on a big jet plane
